Some details...

Congratulations on your upcoming little arrival!

I would be so honored to capture your newborn's portraits...here are some details about the session...

Newborn sessions will take place in my comfortable studio located in the heart of West Chester, PA. I usually begin them at 10am in the morning on a weekday. Everything needed for your session is included and supplied by me. The session usually lasts about 3-4 hours depending on your newborn and family.

If you have chosen the Classic Session we will start with the siblings first (if there are siblings) and then move on to the parent/family shots. The I will ask that the older children be taken out of the studio so we can focus on the newborn's portion of the session. My studio is not large and this is best for everyone. Most often dad, partner or grandmom will take the older siblings home or back to school. If that is not a possibility and mom is coming alone with the children, then the older siblings are welcome to play quietly on the first floor.

I will send you a Newborn Prep Guide with more details on how to prepare for the session. I will ask that you keep the baby awake a few hours prior to arriving at the studio and then you can feed them once you arrive...otherwise there is nothing else I ask of you...every prop, hat, headband and basket needed to make your newborn's shoot special and unique will be ready for you when you get here. I spend a lot of time styling the session and will ask your input too!

I do have some dresses and tops for moms to use during the newborn sessions. They photograph very well and are neutral. I also have a few dresses for big sisters too!

If you are interested in booking a Newborn Session with me, please contact me as soon as possible as my calendar fills up quickly. It's best to contact me before your third trimester but I do take last minute bookings too! I prefer to capture newborns within their first three weeks of life as that's when they are the most sleepy and tolerant of being in the "curly" newborn poses.

Please feel free to contact me with any other questions you may have...and again, congratulations and thank you for considering me to photograph your sweetest little miracle!
